I am fortunate to have been exposed to personal financial concepts at an early age. Dinner table conversations about savings and investment were common and spurred my career interest. My resolve to help others grew amidst the absence of financial education at my primary and secondary schools. When given the opportunity, I would be an advocate for those seeking positive planning and investment experiences.
I am a proud graduate of Boston College High School (Class of 2011). I commuted via public transportation each day - a rich experience that gave me an appreciation for our city's history, diversity, and culture. As a student, I represented my school running cross-country, an experience that emphasized teamwork and yielded many enduring friendships.
I next traveled west and attended the University of Denver's Daniels College of Business. I majored in finance and graduated in 2015. I sought employment and was invited to join Dimensional Fund Advisors (DFA) in Austin, Texas. During my nearly seven years at DFA, I worked closely with financial advisors communicating the merits of the firm's investment process and ground-breaking capital market research. While there, I continued my education and secured my Certified Financial Planner - CFP®, certification.
I returned to Boston and joined ALENA Wealth in 2022. It means much to be part of such a well-rounded team while supporting our clients in pursuit of their goals.
I reside in Wilmington, Massachusetts with my wife, our two children, and border collie. When not working, I enjoy traveling with my family, playing golf, and challenging myself with carpentry projects.
